Of the Good and Bad

We will start with that sorry excuse of an Attorney General, Alfredo Gonzales. That was a painful grilling he received from the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. Jeff Sessions, Lindsey Graham, and Tom Coburn all took turns beating him over the head. This Administration can't seem to get anything right. All they had to say from the beginning was they wanted to replace those US Attorneys to get other people in those districts. They could have asked the Eight dismissed attorneys for a resignation and that was it. But, in there zeal for power and stealth they bungled it. And it is the coverup that gets you, not the crime. All kinds of other issues have arisen because of this case, maily the missing White House emails. THAT could be a huge issue since deleting email is illegal.

Now on to the good:

WOO HOO!!! Al Gore is the man I want to run the most. My dream ticket is Gore/Richardson. This is not to say Gore is running, but it does give me some hope he might. I'm sure we won't know until July, but it could scramble the field over the summer and turn the Democratic nomination into a great campaign.
